Remodel Focal Point Fireplace

This client wanted to update their existing brick fireplace, which was outdated and blocked natural light from the kitchen and dining room.

The client wanted a more open feel between the living room and dining room; and they wanted to use a fireplace to create a striking focal point. To accomplish this, we started by removed the brick fireplace and a section of the wall. We then constructed a smaller fieldstone fireplace (using beautiful local NH fieldstone), which allowed better flow between the two rooms. Finally, we installed new accent lighting and electrical outlets.
